Forum and Mainpage accounts

After the Upgrade my Mainpage account no longer works (and that is OK)
I click on register new account and get to the forum registration ... now I do have a forum account and it works as you can see .. if the forum account is also used for the mainpage - why do existing accounts not work on the mainpage?
I do not want to create a second account just for the mainpage ...

Your forum account should work on the main page as well, but I will look into it

I just tried again ... now it does work ... strange
I tried everything - I even reseted my password
but OK, I am logged in now

My main page account hasn't worked since around 2001 but the site admins managed to ignore me since then, so welcome to the club ;)
