As the i7 platform has matured, we've seen memory kits branch off into different target areas with kits hitting upwards of 2000MHz with CAS 7 timings - Those kits come with an enormous price premium and are only really of use for the hardcore enthusiast. If we step down the metaphorical memory ladder (ahem!) a couple of rungs, we end up face to face with today's subject, the OCZ Platinum OCZ3P1600LV6GK 1600MHz 7-7-7 Triple Channel Kit.
