I hav recently used and Xplored Linux on my 2 machines in the house. But this time , i really went right into the core of usability of Linux.

The Journey was not a Pleasure ride (well i kinda Xpected that) ... but as i started to suceeded in doing things ... all the pain felt GOOD.

So if you got any Question regarding Linux. Do drop a line here. Dr. Kyro will try to answer it

not kidding, it is availible as a service to me right now in mandrake - tho not in my age old textbased redhat 5.

but its not working, so i figure theres a flag needed to be set in the kernel. from what i've read it doesnt support acpi handling like windows yet - its still under development in linux, but it sould handle some of the load on the cpu in idle situations.

with APM said it was always plugged in and with Mandrake 9.1 that ACPI wasnt supported by the Kernel so might try a version later on.

BTW , I dont know how to recompile the kernel with ACPI support . or havent done Kernel compiling once.. If i had said that , that would be BS ...

Dr.Kyro you said ask for linux and you will answer thats nice so i have a little question about doing linux engineering exam there is a place here to do it but it cost 350kd = kuwait dinar = $1000+
btw i am from kuwait
so is there somewhere else i can do the exam from or online maybe?

Second... Ninja ... My saying Dr.kyro was a small joke ... i am far away from being a Linux Dr... But now I know how to search valid info from vast Linux resources/sites on the Web. I will try to do my best.

I take that you are talking about RHCE (RedHat Certifiation Exam) online ;I went to this site redhat.com and it said this "The Red Hat E-Learning Curriculum will provide a complete Web-delivered training program covering the same skills and objectives as the instructor-led classroom track, as well as prerequisites and e-learning on Internet and open source technologies"

"The RHCE Exam itself will not be administered over the Web, but IT professionals will have the option of training themselves in the required skills entirely via Red Hat's new e-learning curriculum or in combination with classroom training. So i dont think there are any online exam by redhat ... but will search for other online certification exams
