In einem Interview sind einige neue Details zum Survival-3D-Actionspiel S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl ans Tageslicht gekommen. Demnach ist die Grafik des Spiels bereits zu 100% fertig. Momentan wird hauptsächlich am Gameplay gearbeitet, das zu knapp 2/3 ebenfalls fertig ist. Die Veröffentlichung der finalen Version ist für das 3. Quartal 2004 geplant. Publisher THQ strebt ein weltweit gleichzeitiges Release an. Eine spielbare Demo-Version ist übrigens auch geplant, wird jedoch erst nach der Veröffentlichung der Vollversion erscheinen. Wenn es nach THQ und GSC Gameworld geht, wird das Actionspiel für Deutschland nicht zensiert.
