slax review coming up.

i am using slax with usb key.... going to use it for a week and gonna post a review... but till final cut will post here some teasers.

for u guys (and if there are some gals..) go here http://slax.linux-live.org/download.php to download and test it ... remember its livecd.. so its always going to be safe.

where is personal data storen when burned to CD ?
how to customize ?

well thats the amazing thing happening here..... u get option to either save in floppy or cd (how do u store on cd-r when u got livecd running ... dont ask me ... i dont knw)

i am using a 256 MB usb key and mounted it ... when exiting i fire the configsave command and all things saved the usb key... now next time i start the cd.... with usbkey ...... it restores everthing automatically.

this livecd can also be install on hard-disk with simple command "slax-install"

but since i am using popcorn.... and its beta... i am not going to install it ... donno how will my ibm r40e will react to it.

personally i am not really interested in installing it ... but the idea is good and just wanted to know ... u know :P

Oh yes.. it rocks.
this is my customizationon xfce panel .. using xfce goodies.
