i was searching the web to solve my own black and white tv out from my geforce fx 5200 card problem and these forums i came across on a search. did not find a solution here but i actually *gasp* looked at the nvidia website's FAQ section

and followed their instruction and im using the svideo to composite adapter so following their instructions I changed it from auto-select to composite output you will see what I mean if you follow this link. Now it is Odd it was always on auto and i never had a problem until recently maybe the new drivers changed it. Whatever the case may be if you are using Geforce cards give that a shot hope this helps anyone else who is going insane without their color tv output

this seems to be somekind of incompatibility ... I never had any problem with the SVHS source and input but a friend of mine alsways had B/W whenusing it ... the normal cinch worked fine ... but SVHS was impossible

i can say the same for me on my B&W nvidia days...
i had to connect svhs and cinch TOGETHER to get a coloured Pic
