Good news! TUGZip 3.3 is released. Download it from here.

My plan was to include the latest translations in the setup package but due the lack of time I just uploaded them to the server. The German, Hungarian, Chinese (traditional) and Swedish translations are updated and available.

I will be out of town for about one and a half month. I'll check my inbox when I can access internet to update the mirrors and translations.

I might give it a try. Enjoy it before it gets sold out to some corp, and becomes registered or stuffed with ADs.

But what exactly is the BS with WinRAR ? I have no problems with paying for it for what it's done for me.

thats exatly the point ...
for sure .... winrar does its job well and I have never found any bug or things like that .... but what do they want money for if you e.g. only extracting

register here
register there that is just annoying

winACE is even worse ... even if you own a legal key it does - from time to time - "forget" your key and tell you "unregistered!" again .... and again ...
I just hate apps that are payware all the way ... I do understand that they want to earn money ... but an extractor is no big deal
and as you see you can get a fully working alternative for free

hmmm, maybe because at the time I registered Winrar (some time ago) I hadn't heard of Tugzip ;)

And I have used it for so much more than just extracting zips, i.e. scripted installers, segmented rar extraction, backups, ISO's

But I guess it would make more sense for Tuckwit to use Tugzip. I will try it out later, but I wouldn't really trust archiving data to a young and unproven program.

you don't need to ....
you can use it als CLI packer ... when using the winace / winrar plugin you can creat .rar archives which is not done by this tool but by the free CLI versions of rar/ace

Thanks for the tip! I've never heard of this before. Just downloaded and installed this, and without a doubt this is one of the greatest unzipping/zipping tools I have ever seen. Something like this should be noted on the Warp2 main page.
