40.41 and windows XP user switching

hey, this is my first post here. I was at neowin but as most of you know its down.

Anyways, I recently installed the 40.41 drivers from Nvidia. Everything is mostly fine but if I switch user, then have another user login, logout. Then i switch back into my account the screen stays black then windows redraw at like .2fps a sec for almost a minute. then everything goes good. This only happens if someone logins-out after i switched user. If i switch user then log right back in nothing of the sort happens.

Anyone got any ideas, for th emean time I'm moving back to the 30 series.

:evil: I installed 40.41 drivers on windowsxp, i am running p3 500 mhz,128 mb ram and a tnt2 m64 card. if everything else seems to work one thing really sucks. my computer wont play dvds anymore. no picture comes and noise is so choppy like i am viewing over the internet at my 56 k connection even that is better no video at all.

Kindly help

Had the same problem with a combination of 40.41 DVD's and NVDVD. Screen would be blank and the audio was popping like anything, tried it with the DVD player that came with my Abit Siluro GF4 4600 and it was fine?

40.41's and NVDVD don't mix ???????? :-?

I too have this problem.
When I installed the driver 30.81, my monitor was simply switched off
When I installed the driver 40.41, I windows works only in a mode 4 bit
My sytem:
Athlon XP 1800
DFI AD76-Raid
512 DDR 333
GAINWARD Gforce4 4400128 DDR
