Major 40.41 problem

I've installed the new 40.41s for my GeForce256 on Win XP.

When I try to edit the settings by right clicking on the desktop and clicking on Properties, etc..., I get this:


When I go to Control Panel -> Display etc... I get this:


I'd really like some help on this...

You forgot to uninstall your old drivers first. Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs. then find the Nvidia Windows 2000/xp entry and press Remove. Restart pc then install the new drivers again.

I have the same Display adapter (GF 256 DDr) and have no problem at all!

I Got exactly the same problem as you have done everything you can think of. Still getting it when I push my GeForce 3 Ti200. :evil:

So I uninstalled the previous drivers,re-installed Detonator and yet...
SAME GD THING ALL OVER!!!

Guess Nvidia should have put some lil extra work into this one before releaseing it. :(
